To you, exclusively from Lupus International...
Portraits of Success, a new one-of-a-kind book published by Lupus International provides a peek into the lives of twenty-nine people who live successfully with lupus. Within the pages of this book are the stories of victory, told in their own words. Children born, remission achieved, management of flares are celebrated. They talk about their days of doubt and tears, but most of all they speak of the hope new research brings. Their stories are an inspiring read. Symptoms, medications, practical advice on living day to day make this book a must have for those with lupus, and those who love those who have lupus.

The Lupus International Foundation was incorporated in 1983 as a 501(c)3 not for profit organization dedicated to the service and support of lupus patients, their families, their doctors, and the research community. We fundamentally began servicing the Greater Los Angeles Area and then spread throughout California. As we grew over the decades our outreach now goes out to patients all over the world. Our corporate headquarters are located in the heart of one of the leading medical research and biotech areas in the country in Southern California.
Mission
The primary function of Lupus International is to alleviate suffering for lupus patients through patient services, including education, early detection of undiagnosed cases through awareness promotion, and to eradicate lupus by supporting lupus research.
There is hope. Since 1983, we have provided thousands of people with educational and supportive services. We assist those affected by lupus to live fuller, more productive lives.
