The run may be complete, but there is still a race to raise more funds to help Lupus International continue their patient programs, contributions to research and to assist college students. Each person has a unique story as to why they run, walk and/or create a fundraising team. For most, it is because they know someone with lupus and understand the complexities of this incurable disease. Sadly, some participate because they have lost a loved one to lupus or related conditions.
